Caracas, 30 Ene. AVN.- A total 444 pieces of art which remain in the hands of Venezuela's Deposit Guarantee & Bank Protection Fund (Fogade) will be now handed to the Foundation of National Museums of the Ministry of People's Power for Culture.

Culture Minister Pedro Calzadilla recently visited Fogade seats where the works of art remain so as to begin the legal procedure for the transfer, reported a press release.

Minister Calzadilla counted the pieces which remain in Fogade's unit of artworks, among which may be listed pictures of Venezuelan artists Manuel Cabre, Jesus Soto and Carlos Cruz Diez.

Executive coordinator of the management of movable and immovable assets, Hilda Hernandez, remarked that there will be soon carried out the transfer of 444 works of art to the Foundation of National Museums.

After the inspection, the Culture Minister met with Fogade's president David Alastre to exchange views about the artistic value of each of these works for the Nation.
