Venezuelan Government Rejects and Condemns the Violent Acts against Globovision Headquarters

The Minister of People’s Power for Interior and Justice (MIJ), Tareck El Aissami, in the name of the Bolivarian Government, expressed its categorical rejection and condemnation of the violent acts committed this Monday against the headquarters of the Venezuelan television channel Globovision by a group of people identified with a political party.
 
On Monday, El Aissimi made the statement via telephone to the Venezuelan State Channel Venezolana de Television (VTV).
 
The Minister explained that a group of people identified with a political party attacked the Globovision facilities and assaulted some security guards in the building.
 
“We have acted in strict accordance with the law. Consequently, we have instructed National Authority on Organized Crime to come forward and begin the investigation,” affirmed El Aissami.
 
El Aissami advised that people involved in these actions will be referred to the Venezuelan judicial system.
