Venezuelan art at Bolivar Hall

Venezuelan artist, Ana Carolina Moreno, brought an immense display of colours and textures to Bolivar Hall when she exhibited her recent work last Thursday the 6th of May.

The exhibition, entitled "Gossip Windows", reflects "the many different perspectives that a person has looking from through a window", said Moreno.  The majority of the paintings and sculptures from the series are made of wood and clay which according to the artist, captures the "the human figure in its own environment".  

The exhibition, which was opened by the Venezuelan Ambassador Samuel Moncada, consisted of over 20 paintings and sculptures.

Ana Carolina Morena is prominent Venezuelan artist specialising in mixed media.  

She has been exhibiting her work internationally, especially in the US, for over ten years.
