Venezuela sends a message of solidarity to Chilean people

The government and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela express their deepest sorrow for the dozens of victims of the terrible earthquake that lashed the brother people of Chile at three o'clock in the morning, on Saturday February 27, 2010.
President Hugo Chávez, on behalf of his government and the people of Venezuela, sends a message of solidarity to the victim's relatives, to everyone that is affected by the earthquake and to President Michelle Bachelet, whose government is at the forefront of rescue and safety restoration activities.
The bolivarian government addresses its particular affection to the numerous and beloved Chilean community living in Venezuela, to offer together a hand of solidarity to the Chilean government in this difficult hour, and puts at the disposal of the Chilean people all the material and human resources that might be helpful to save human lives and to repair the destruction provoked by this catastrophe.
