The group Bolivar Soloist celebrates Venezuelan Independence in the Bolívar Hall.

As part of the cultural activities to celebrate the 198th anniversary of Venezuelan independence, the Bolivar Hall of the Venezuelan Embassy in the United Kingdom presented the group “Bolivar Soloist”.

This group showed a variety of music from Latin America filled with exotic rhythms and other types of music which reflects on the mixes of races and cultures in our continent.

Formed in 2003 in London by musicians who were students from the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, Bolivar Soloist performed their first concert in the “Bolivar Hall” of the Venezuelan Embassy.

The group has also successfully performed in places like Germany and various regions of England; they have also performed at the Centre of Latin American in Cambridge University and the Young Artist series of the English Chamber Orchestra.

Young musicians from different parts of the world are the members of Bolivar Soloist. Its members are: Venezuelan Efrain Oscher on the flute, Argentinean Pablo Bercellini on the Cello, Venezuelan Juan Manuel Gonzalez on the Violin and British Pianist Rhodri Clarke.

The group has upcoming performances in Porthcawl (Wales) and another in Stonebridge Church in London.
