Venezuelan Embassy celebrates Victor Jara at Bolivar Hall

Last Friday, a group of troubadours and poets from the Artist Collective organized an artistic event at Bolivar Hall honoring Chilean songwriter Victor Jara.

The event was attended by Henry Bran, John Calle, Tony Corden, Vladimir Vega, among others.

A variety of themes were interpreted as "Pajarillo vasco ',' El serrucho '," Entonces me voy volando "

Eduardo Embry, a Chilean poet, recited part of his repertoire amid cheers and applauses

The event producer John Cuevas said "I am very pleased with this event", and he promised to add more material for future presentations.

"It is very important not to let this important date go unnoticed and remember Victo Jara who gave his encouragement and fight against fascism in Chile", said Cuevas.

Aproximately 150 people attended this event.
