Achievements of ALBA and Latin America shown at Bolivar Hall
The Revolutionary Communist Group provided presented at Bolivar Hall an extensive and well documented analysis on the political-economic situation of Latin America and Cuba's influence in this process.
Dr. Helen Faye (PhD in History of Economic) revealed a series of data about the new social current, which is transforming the socio-political outlook and economic development in the region, highlighting the importance of the ALBA and the Bank of the South, labelling them as great alternatives to Latin American countries, which have been under the influence of capitalism and oppression.
"The launching of ALBA and the implementation of the Sucre offer a development alternative for these countries in the midst of this economic crisis that has left a relatively weak dollar," said Faye, who teaches economics at the London School of Economics (LSE).
